Technical Sales Representative

Find the teams who need Codeskop, show them what it does in a live demo, and bring them on board. We'll train you on the product from day one.

2 positions open Sales On-site & in the field: expos, tech events and client visits Full-time

About the role

Codeskop gives software teams one place to see the crashes, errors and slow or failing API calls their users hit, across Android, iOS, Flutter, Kotlin Multiplatform and the web. We're early, and the people who carry the product to its first customers will shape what the company becomes.

As a Technical Sales Representative you'll own the full early sales cycle: finding prospects, running product demos, handling technical questions and objections, and closing and onboarding new customers. You'll be in the room where developers, engineering leads and CTOs work: at expos, meetups, hackathons, conferences and in their own offices.

You don't need to be an engineer. We'll train you on the product, the SDKs and the dashboard until you can demo Codeskop with confidence and explain why it matters to the people who build and run apps.

What you'll do

  • Complete our product training and become fluent in Codeskop: crash and error monitoring, network monitoring, alerts, user tracking and product analytics.
  • Source new business: identify and reach out to software companies, agencies, startups, banks, fintechs and other teams that ship mobile and web apps.
  • Represent Codeskop at expos, tech events, developer meetups and conferences. Start conversations, collect leads and book follow-up demos.
  • Run tailored product demos, in person and online, for developers, engineering managers and decision-makers.
  • Understand each prospect's stack and pain points, and show how Codeskop fits their apps and workflow.
  • Manage your pipeline from first contact to signed customer, and keep accurate records of leads, activities and deals.
  • Help new customers get started: walk them through setup and their first insights, working with the engineering team where needed.
  • Feed what you hear from the field back to the product team: objections, feature requests and competitor insights.
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly targets for qualified demos and onboarded clients.

What you'll bring

  • 1–2 years of experience in tech sales, SaaS sales, business development or a similar B2B sales role.
  • A track record of hitting targets and closing deals.
  • Comfort learning technical products and explaining them clearly to both technical and non-technical people.
  • Excellent spoken and written communication, and the confidence to start conversations with strangers at events.
  • Strong presentation and demo skills, or the drive to build them quickly.
  • Self-motivated, organised and comfortable working independently in the field.
  • Willingness to travel locally for events and client meetings.

Nice to have

  • Experience selling developer tools, cloud, monitoring or other software to engineering teams.
  • A network in your local tech scene: startups, agencies, developer communities or enterprise IT.
  • Familiarity with how mobile and web apps are built and released.
  • Experience with a CRM such as HubSpot, Pipedrive or Salesforce.

What we offer

  • A basic salary that's competitive with current market rates.
  • A competitive commission package based on successfully onboarded clients.
  • Hands-on product training from the founding team.
  • A short path from idea to impact; your feedback from the field shapes the product.
