Why users dropped off at checkout

Users who left had failed calls to POST /v1/orders and a crash in CheckoutActivity.

What you get

Workflow

From a drop in conversion to the fix that wins it back

Start from the number you own, not from the error list, and give engineering the evidence to act on.

  1. 1

    Build the funnel you own

Signup, onboarding or checkout: pick 2 to 10 steps and see conversion and drop-off between each.

    Growth and above
  2. 2

    Open the drop-off

See how many of the users who left crashed, hit errors or had failed API calls, and which issues hit them most.

    Growth and above
  3. 3

Check the impact on the issue

Users affected, app versions and devices, so you know whether it's one phone model or everyone on the latest release.

    Every plan
  4. 4

Put it in front of the right developer

Assign it and @mention the developer with why it matters. The activity timeline shows where it stands, and on Growth and above you can create the ticket from the issue.

Frequently asked questions

Which plan includes funnels and segments?

Product analytics (events, screens, funnels, retention, paths and segments) is on Growth (1,000,000 analytics events a month) and Scale (10,000,000), as of October 2026. Users affected on every issue, and comments with @mentions, are on every plan.

Do analytics events count toward the crash quota?

No. Analytics events have their own monthly quota, separate from crash and error events, and test environment traffic is never counted.

How is this different from a standalone analytics tool?

The funnels sit next to your crash, error and API data, so every drop-off shows the crashes, errors and failed calls that hit the users who left. A standalone analytics tool sees that users left, not what broke for them.

Can I see what a user did before a crash?

Yes, on Growth and above. Pick a user to see their latest session in order: the screens and events (with product analytics on) and the crashes, errors and failed API calls. It's a timeline, not a session replay: Codeskop doesn't record video or taps.

Do product managers take up a seat?

Everyone on the team is a member: Free includes up to 5, Starter up to 15, and Growth and above unlimited. Choose Product when you sign up and Codeskop first opens on issues sorted by users affected.

Does Codeskop collect personal data for analytics?

It never needs names, emails or phone numbers. Users are known by the ID you pass to identify, and values that look like an email address or phone number are replaced with [REDACTED].
