Workflow

From a failing payment call to a fix

One issue carries the evidence from the first failure to the release that fixes it.

  1. 1

    A payment call starts failing

Calls to the endpoint are grouped with their status codes and timing, and the number of users affected.

    Starter and above
  2. 2

    Your team hears about it

An alert rule for failing or slow APIs posts to Slack, WhatsApp or your webhook.

    Starter and above
  3. 3

See who it hit and what they did

Open an affected customer's session: the screens, the failed calls and any crash, in order.

    Growth and above
  4. 4

Fix it and watch the next release

Release health shows crash-free users and new issues for the release with the fix, so you know it held.

Frequently asked questions

Does Codeskop capture card numbers or payment details?

No. The SDKs never capture request or response bodies, cookies or Authorization headers, and they drop query strings. For each call Codeskop sees the method, host, path, status code and timing.

Can alerts go to WhatsApp?

Yes, from Starter: alert rules can send to WhatsApp through your own WhatsApp Business number, as well as to Slack, email and webhooks.

Does it cover our backend services?

Yes. Server SDKs for Python, Node.js, Java and Kotlin, Go and PHP report errors on every plan, and the requests they serve and the APIs they call from Starter.

What is API Trust?

An add-on for companies whose API other businesses call: see which businesses and products use it, get a finding when one falls outside your terms, and keep an audit trail your compliance team can verify.
